Teacher Mini-Grants Still Available

Cowley County, KS: Teacher mini-grants are still available to teachers in public schools in

Cowley County through Legacy Foundation. These Teacher Mini-Grants are supported by a gift from Mike Harvey in celebration of 25 years of Family Wealth Management. His goal is to

enrich, enhance and support teachers in Cowley County schools. The grants are offered to

teachers as a means of providing for basic classroom needs and encouraging innovative

classroom projects. Grants for projects to be completed during the current school year will be awarded in amounts up to $100. The total amount of funds available is $2,500.

The Foundation is committed to creating a stronger, healthier and more prosperous future

for our area by growing area philanthropic and nonprofit efforts, connecting donors with critical needs in our community, instilling informed leadership and building endowments. This commitment includes supporting those that educate our children.

The simple, one-page grant application is posted on the Legacy Foundation website

located at www.legacyregionalfoundation.org. Applications accepted until October 19, 2020 or funds are expended. Questions related to the application process, should be directed to Yazmin Wood, Executive Director, at 620-221-7224 or yazmin.legacy@yahoo.com.
