Kansas Masonic College Scholarships Application Deadline March 15th



Application deadline for Kansas Masonic Foundation College Scholarship is approaching. Applications must be completed online by March 15th. All applications are renewable. If you were one of the 247 scholarship winners last year, you are eligible to reapply.

There are 4 scholarship categories: General Scholarship, Technical or Community/Junior College Scholarship, Legacy Scholarship and Cynthia Ruth Russell Memorial Scholarship for Medically approved disabilities.

The General Scholarship is $1000 for students attending one of the following schools: Emporia, Fort Hays State University, Kansas State University, Pittsburg State University, University of Kansas, Washburn University or Wichita State University.

The Technical or Community/Junior College Scholarship is $500 for students attending one of the seven Kansas Technical Colleges or one of the nineteen Kansas Community/Junior College.

For both the General and the Technical /Junior College scholarship students must be a Kansas resident with an acceptance letter or copy of current college transcripts from the eligible school. Students must be enrolled in 12 credit hours and demonstrate financial need.

The Cynthia Ruth Russell Memorial Scholarship specifically goes to support disabled or physically challenged students who are pursuing personal and professional growth via higher education. Students must be a Kansas resident attending one of the universities or colleges identified in the General Scholarship. Students must provide a description and current documentation of the disability.

The Legacy Scholarship can only be awarded to a Son or Daughter of a Kansas Mason or a member of a masonic lodge appendant youth organization. The same criteria as the General Scholarship and Technical or Community/Junior College scholarship still apply with the exception that the Legacy Scholarship may be used at ANY U.S. accredited University/College, Technical, Community or Junior Colleges.
